| Design Sculpting Highly detailed sculpts can be produced from your initial design idea or sketches. Mould-making & Casting I use the best quality silicone mould rubbers.These give outstanding detail reproduction and have a high tear strength making undercuts on the casting less of a problem, and prolonging the life of the mould. Mould making is undertaken with great care to minimise, as much as possible, mould lines and flashing on the final castings. I primarily use a high grade lead-free pewter, though other white metal alloys can be used as dictated by the requirements of the job. All castings are carefully checked to ensure accurate reproduction. I can also cast using a variety of resins. This includes metal-filled resin which can be used to create very realistic metallic finishes like brass and bronze.
