The
Norse Rune Set depicts the 24 runes of the Elder Futhark plus a
blank 'Odin's' rune.
The rune stones are polished to a very tactile, smooth finish and
each one has a subtly different size and shape to give a very natural
feel to them.
The runic symbols are deeply engraved into the stones to ensure
their
appearance is clear and long lasting.
The stones measure
approx. 25mm x 15mm, and are made using fine
quality lead-free pewter.
A leaflet included with the set lists the names and basic interpretations
of the runes.
Each
Norse Rune Set comes in a custom made drawstring pouch.
These beautiful pouches have been hand crocheted by a local
craftswoman using the finest quality yarns.
The drawstring is secured with a pewter toggle decorated with celtic
knotwork,
and backed by a large flat bead made from agate or similar stone.
The ends of the drawstring are finished with lacquered wooden beads.
The
pouch measures approx. 160mm x 110mm.
The
pouches are available in classic black or one of three stunning
colour schemes, Cosmic Blue, Moorland and Wildflower.
